I joined the Davis lab in 2017 as a DPhil student working on the post-transcriptional regulation in neurogenesis. I am a member of St John's College and a Clarendon Scholar.

I am interested in how post-transcriptional mechanisms govern neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation during brain development. Particularly, I will focus on the cis and trans-acting factors acting through highly extended 3'UTR in transcript regulations.

Before coming to Oxford I studied at the University of Cambridge (Downing College), completing an MPhil in Biological Science. I worked in Prof Guy Brown's lab exploring the role of a phagocytic receptor (P2Y6) and how neurons and synapses could be eaten alive by microglia.

Prior to my MPhil I completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the Imperial College London where I purified and characterised plant borate transporters for the final year project under Prof Bernadette Byrne's supervision.
